  1. Information We Collect

    1. Information You Provide. We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information you provide when you create an account, fill out a form, or communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment method data, preferences, photos, and any other information you choose to provide. Your first name and last name, as well as any photo you submit through the registration process, will be publicly displayed as part of your account profile. The information that you contribute through the Service is intended for public consumption, including your game history, photos, check-ins, comments, likes, messages, events, friends, reviews, and account profile. We may display this information through the Service, share it with businesses, and further distribute it to a wider audience through third-party sites and services.

      3. Location Information. We may collect information about the location of your device each time you use our Service, or when you otherwise consent to the collection of this information.

      4. Contacts. With your permission, we may collect the contact information for your friends, by accessing your contacts from your computer, mobile device, or third-party sites to select which friends you want to invite.

      5. Device Information. We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Service, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

If you are an invited guest, we will automatically send you an invitation to our Service, and, if unanswered, a one-time follow-up invitation.     1. Operating our Service. We may use information about you for various purposes related to operating our Service, including to:

      1. Provide, maintain, and improve our Service, including to process transactions, and develop new products and services;

      4. Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities, and protect the rights property, or safety of PickUP and others;

  3. Sharing of Information

    1. Through Our Service. We share some of the information we collect by displaying it on our Service according to your member profile and account settings. Some information, such as user name, is always public.

    2. Social Sharing. We may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools which let you share actions you take on our Service with third-party services, and vice versa. Such features let you share information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you have chosen with the third-party. The Third-Party’s use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and we do not control their use of the shared data.     3. Aggregate Information. We may share user information in the aggregate with third parties, such as advertisers and content distributors. For example, we may disclose the number of users that have been exposed to, or clicked on, advertisements.

    4. Businesses or Affiliates with PickUP. We may share information from or about you (such as your age and gender), your devices, and your use of the Service (such as event preferences and location) with business affiliates with PickUP. Keep in mind that businesses may see your Public Profile and receive information about your transactions with them, regardless of your settings.

    5. Affiliate Sharing and Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If PickUP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of our assets, information about you may be shared, sold, or transferred as part of that transaction. We may also share information about you with current or future corporate parents, subsidiaries, or affiliates.

  4. Other Important Information

    1. Controlling Your Personal Data. Other users may be able to identify you, or associate you with your account, if you include personal information in the content you post publicly. You can reduce the risk of being personally identified by using the Service pseudonymously, though doing so could detract from the credibility of your contributions to the Service. Users can also use the Find Friends feature to find one another based on their names or email addresses.

      Please also note that the messages you send or receive using the Service are only private to the extent that both you and the person you are communicating with keep them private. For example, if you send a message to another user, that user may choose to publicly post it. Also, PickUP may access and disclose such messages in the course of investigations relating to use of the Service.

    2. Children. The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you become aware that a child has created an account with false information, please contact us at If we become aware that an individual under 18 has created an account, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the individual’s account.

    3. Security. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

    4. Policy Scope. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide to third parties, such as members of PickUP, and others with whom you may share information about you. Our Service may direct you to a third-party service or a portion of our Service controlled by a third party (typically through the use of a frame or pop-up window separate from other content on our Service).
